Ingredients of Low-Calorie Chicken Razela

  1. You need 500 grams of chicken cut into pieces.
  2. Take 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
  3. You need 1 tbsp+1 cup of curd.
  4. It’s 2 tbsp of ghee.
  5. Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
  6. It’s 3 of cardamoms.
  7. It’s 1/2 inch of cinnamon.
  8. Take 6 of black peppercorn.
  9. Prepare 4 of cloves.
  10. Take 1 of star anise.
  11. Make ready 1 of black cardamom.
  12. Make ready 4 of dried red chillies.
  13. You need 1 cup of onion paste.
  14. Make ready 2 of green chilies chopped.
  15. It’s 3 tbsp of poppy and watermelon seeds paste (1 tbsp poppy seeds + 2 tbsp watermelon seeds).
  16. Make ready 1 of onion rings.
  17. You need 1 tsp of salt.
  18. Prepare 1 drop of mitha attar/sweet essence.
  19. Make ready 1/2 tsp of kewra water.
  20. Take 1 pinch of saffron soaked in 2 tbsp warm milk.

Low-Calorie Chicken Razela instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp curd and 1/2 tsp salt for an hour..
  2. Heat ghee in a saucepan, add the whole masalas and allow to sizzle..
  3. Add onion paste and saute till oil seperates, then add green chillies..
  4. Add the chicken and saute until it changes the colour, around 10 mins..
  5. Add poppy melon paste and curd and mix in thoroughly..
  6. Cover with a lid and continue to cook for 10 minutes..
  7. Add onion rings, 1/2 tsp salt and mix well, let the onions cook around 5 mins..
  8. Add attar, kewra water and saffron, mix well and switch off the flame..
  9. Serve hot..
