Ingredients of Pepper Steak Noodles

  1. Prepare of flank steak.
  2. It’s of bell peppers, diced large.
  3. Make ready of large onion or 2 medium, diced large.
  4. You need of thick egg noodles.
  5. You need of fresh cracked black pepper.
  6. Take of Salt.
  7. It’s of green onion.
  8. You need of corn starch.
  9. You need of sesame oil.
  10. Take of vegetable oil.
  11. You need of oyster sauce.
  12. Make ready of garlic, Minced.
  13. You need of sriracha.
  14. Make ready of fresh grated ginger.
  15. Take of soya sauce.
  16. You need of brown sugar.
  17. Make ready of water.
  18. You need of lime (half for the sauce and half for squeezing on top).

Pepper Steak Noodles instructions

  1. In a screaming hot cast iron skillet, cook your (salt and pepper seasoned) steak until desired doneness (I did medium rare because it will continue to cook with the noodles) once cooked, set aside to rest.
  2. Turn heat to medium-low and cook bell peppers and onions 2-5 min..
  3. Meanwhile in a bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soya sauce, cracked black pepper, corn starch, garlic, sriracha, ginger, oyster sauce,water, half lime juice and brown sugar.
  4. Pour the sauce into the pan and let the sauce come to boil. About 5 min..
  5. Slice the steak thin and return it to the pan with the veggies, pour all those steak juices in as well..
  6. Add the bag of egg noodles and toss everything together. And cook until the noodles are warmed (these noodles are usually cooked and just need to be warmed)- if u use other noodles just cook them 90% of the way first..
  7. Let everything mingle for 5-10min and serve with a squeeze of lime and green onion.
