- Take 36 of Eggs.
- Take 4 cup of Vinegar.
- Make ready 1 tbsp of Tabasco Sauce.
- Take 1 cup of water.
- Take 1 tbsp of Salt.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of Black Pepper, ground.
- Make ready 1 tsp of Red Pepper, crushed, dry.
- You need 1 of onion, chopped.
- You need 3 can of jalapeños, sliced (16oz).
Pickled Eggs - Yooper Style step by step
- Boil eggs for 12 Minutes.
- Allow eggs to cool.
- Peel eggs and rinse.
- Chop onion.
- Combine vinegar, water, jalapeños with sauce, onion, Tabasco, salt, black pepper, and red pepper in large sauce pot. This will be called the 'juice'.
- Cover sauce pan.
- Bring the juice to a boil (warning: boiling vinegar is very stinky).
- In a 1 gallon glass jar, place 1 layer of eggs at the bottom.
- Cover the eggs with Jalapeños slices and 'juice'.
