- It’s 1 cup of thin variety poha.
- You need 1/4th cup of sooji.
- It’s 1/2 cup of yoghurt.
- It’s to taste of salt.
- It’s 1 tsp of flat eno fruit salt regular jot flavoured.
- Prepare of few drops of lemon juice.
- Prepare 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of sesame seeds.
- Take 3-4 of slit green chillies.
- You need pinch of hing.
- Take of few curry leaves.
- Take pinch of red chilli powder (optional).
- Take As needed of chopped coriander leaves for garnish.
Instant Poha Dhokla Recipe (quick breakfast recipe) step by step
- Wash poha nicely drain excess water then add yoghurt and sooji add 1/2 cup water to adjust consistency mix well set aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Then grind the mixture adding little water to a medium paste i have used almost 3/4 cup water in this recipe.
- Meanwhile boil 1 and half glass water in a vessel or kadai keep a plate or small bowl or ring at the bottom for stand.
- Now add salt eno and few drops of lemon juice to the batter beat in one direction for few seconds…then grease a thali with oil nicely and pour this batter into it.
- Keep this thali with batter into the boiling water kadai and close lid steam on medium flame for 20 minutes then off gas and wait 5 minutes then remove plate out.
- Cool and then cut square or diamonds shape prepare tadka heat a tsp oil add mustard seeds then sesame seeds the green chilli a pinch hing and then curry leaves….remove from heat.
- Pour the tadka over prepared dhokla garnish with coriander leaves and sprinkle red chilli powder.
- Relish with coconut chutney or tomato ketchup.
